FAP entered the Basketball Africa League semifinal stage as they downed REG in Kigali. Deshaun Morman (193-F-1994, college: Towson) hauled in 14 points to pace the Cameroon side.
FAP earned a 23-17 lead ten minutes into the game. REG narrowed the deficit at 5-point mark at the big break 36-31. FAP extended the margin in the third quarter. The Cameroon team entered the fourth frame up by 7 points and held on to the lead to snatch the victory. Joel Almeida (195-F-1985, college: Brockport St., agency: Interperformances) and Tyjhai Byers (211-C-1998, college: ECSU) chipped in 10 points each for the winning side. Cleveland Thomas (192-G-1993, college: WKU, agency: Slash Sports) answered with 23 points and 8 rebounds for REG. Dieudonne Ndayisaba (203-SG-1996) had 11 points in the loss.
